Founder, Scott Forbes, began his career in 1996 selling World’s Finest® Chocolate with his father, Jim Cochran – one of the original World’s Finest® Chocolate Independent Distributors in California and then among the top salespeople in the country. Jim trained Scott under the philosophy of “Take Care of Your Customers and They Will Take Care of You.” With such a customer-focused legacy, Scott quickly grew to be one of the top sales representatives in the area.

In 2000, Scott joined QSP, Inc. – then a division of the Reader’s Digest Association – as part of a cross-marketing partnership between QSP and World’s Finest® Chocolate. During his career with QSP, Scott continually grew his sales while simultaneously sitting on several national committees, including QSP’s Gift Committee (gift catalog programs), Food Committee (chocolate and frozen food programs), and Prize Chart Committee (gift program incentives) giving him an even deeper knowledge of the fundraising industry.

At the end of his career with QSP, Scott was among the top 1% of sales representatives in the country, had earned more than 15 awards and recognitions, and had amassed total lifetime sales of over $24 million.

In 2007, Scott left QSP to establish Regency Fundraising, Inc. – a California corporation – to provide his customers with greater flexibility in the programs they run and an even better selection of quality products to choose from. Together with its corporate partners, Regency Fundraising is one of Southern California’s premier fundraising companies and the area’s largest volume provider of World’s Finest® Chocolate products.
